British Militia
INFANTRY NOT POPULAR LONDON, June 23. Conscription is not proving the bug bear which opponents predicted, as militiamen are showing complete willingness to the absorbed. Alen are being posted to units as far as possible in accord with their own wishes. Stories of the Great War have not made the infantry popular. The majority prefer the tank corps or artillery.
