From Our Own Correspondent. Young Farmers’ Club At the monthly meeting of the Ivimbi>l-ton-Kiwitea Young Fanners’ Club, Mr. H. H. Beard presided over a large attendance of members and others interested, including two members from the Apiti Club. The speaker for the evening was Mr. Ken Kranus, of the American Oil Survey whose lecture was keenly followed by ali present. Three new members were welcomed by the president. The next meeting will be held in the Iviwitea Hall on July 5 and will take the form of a musicai evening. Personal and General Mr. and Mrs. R. Knox and Mr. and Mrs. ’L. London, of Valley Road, who motoreii to Linton for the school jubilee, have returned home. Several members of the KimboltonKiwitea Young Farmers’ Club have joined the young farmers’ tour or the South Island. Mrs. C. McGlone and family are spending the school vacation at Foxton. Mr. M. E. Pearce motored to Petone to spend the holidays with his parents.
