From Our Own Correspondent. Personal and General Mrs. J. Whitehead and two small sons, Parewanui, have been the guests of the former’s parents, Mr. ana Mrs. A. Green. Mr. and Mrs. N. Amadio, Ruahine, are spending the school vacation with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Green, “Raumanga.” Miss Clere and Mrs. W. Harvey “Ormesly, have left to spend a holiday touring by car. 1 Mr. and .Mrs. Cameron, formerly of Otaki, are staying at “Ormsly” during Miss Clere’s absence on holiday. Miss P. Green, of the teaching stuff of the Whenuakura School, is holidaying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Green. Mr. 'and Mrs. A. Shannon, “Mahoe,” have their daughter Patricia home from Christchurch Training College for the holidays. Raynor Shannon’s friends will be pleased to learn that he is progressing satisfactorily from his recent accident when lie sustained a fractured arm. Mr. A. Green, accompanied by his son-in-law, Mr. J. Whitehead, has been trout fishing recently at Taupo. The arrangements for the tennis dance to be held this evening have been well organised and patrons are promised a jolly evening’s entertainment. There was a good attendance of players at the club evening arranged for Tuesday evening of last week. Some very close anTI interesting games of table tennis were played. New playei’s will be welcomed at tny of these evenings.
