Reported Condemnation Of B.M.A. Denied
ELECTRICAL WORKERS Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Federation of the Electricians’ Association advises that a motion accredited to the Hawke’s Bay branch of tho Electrical Workers’ Association which was reported to have urged the Government “to take a stand and treat the British Medical Association in the same manner as strikers in any other industry,” was not carried by the Hawke’s Bay branch. TT is stated that at no time has the Hawke’s Bay branch of tho New Zealand Federation, of the Electrictrians ’ Association discussed or passed any motion dealing with a dispute between the Government and the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. The organisation is said to be strictly non-political and in no way connected with tho body referred to in. tho recent message from Hastings.
