High Costs in the Poultry Industry
BUSINESS BEFORE HOUSE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. In tho. House of Representatives this afternoon, Mr. W. J. Broadfoot gave notice to ask the Minister of Industries aud Commerce (Hon. D. G. Sullivan; what stops he was taking to lower the cost of production in the poultry industry and instanced tho fact that wheat that was 2s 2d a bushel in Syd ney was being retailed to poultrymOn at 5s 9d in New Zealand. The Greymoutli Harbour Board Loan Bill (Mr. J. O'Brien) was introduced and read tho first time. Tho Cornwall Park Bating Exemption Bill (Mr. W. P. Endenn) was read the first time and also the second time pro forma and referred to the Local Bills Committee. Mr. H. A. Atmore gave notice to ask for leave to introduce the Nelson City Empowering Bill.
