A Source of Pneumonia

(To the Editor.) Sir,—At all outdoor ceremonies men are supposed to remove their hats, regardless of weather conditions. This account for fifty per cent of the winter colds among otherwise healthy people. At Wednesday's meeting in Fitzroy park the piercing East wind has produced a score or more of those usual results. This danger is most apparent after largely attended winter funerals, where even the boldest of us dare not defy the convention. On a recent occasion the good clergyman most considerately suggested that we should replace our hats, when over a hundred of us gratefully responded. Would some thoughtful member of the Ministers’ Association take this in hand? A VICTIM.
