ACCOUNTANTS SUPPORT MOVEMENT Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. In a paper on decimal coinage submitted to the council of the New Zea land Society of Accountants, Mr A J. Allport, of Timaru, reviewed the important progress of the decimal coinage movement in Great Britain, a reform advocated by the Empire Chambers of Commerce. He uiged that the Accountants' Society should take the lead in New Zealand. The society could render a most valuable service to business and industry by intelligent anticipation of national trends. The following resolution was carried: “That in the opinion of this council the adoption of decimal coinage in the British Empire would result in important savings in industry and commerce, and the council will support any efforts to achieve this reform ”
