“SINNER TAKE ALL’* “Sinner Take All/’ which screens at tho Cosy, Woodville, to-night and tomorrow proves to be a picture as intriguing as its title. It is a happy combination of mystery, romance, and humour, in unusual settings, produced in the manner of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer with lavish attention to detail, xue scenes range from the luxury of Park Avenue penthouses to the squalor of ! lower East Side tenements, nor is tho Broadway night club sector omitted. Others reveal the roaring and ordered confusion of a metropolitan newspaper at press time, with a big story break ing. Bruco Cabot and Margaret Lindsay play the romantic leads with artistry, and Joseph Calleia offers another of his individual “menace’’ portrayals. Excellent supporting roles are played by Stanley Ridges, Vivienne Osborne, Theodore Van Eltz, George Zucco, Raymond Hatton, George Lynn, Edward Pawley, Louis Natheaux and Robert Emmett O’Connor. An added attraction on Wednesday night only will be a stage Presentation by Les Henry and his dance band from Hastings. Les and his boys have gained considerable fame throughout the country as an orchestra of outstanding merit and patrons are assured of 40 minutes of grand music and fun. The orchestra will be assisted by “Bud’’ James, comedian and New Zealand film star and the show will commence at 7.30 p.m.
