CAR ACCIDENT IN SNOW When returning from Woodville on Friday evening, Mr. Colhoun had the misfortune to meet a large car on Danger Point corner. The glaring headlights of the oncoming vehicle dazzled Mr. Colhoun, who applied the brakes, but owing to the snow on the ground these did not act and he went through the rails and straight to the bottom, a drop of about 20 feet. Mr. Colhoun was not hurt but his car was extensively damaged. EUCHRE PARTY At the school euchre party on Saturday evening tho prize-winners were Mrs. Dunford and Miss Tattershall (tie for ladies) and Mr. Thompson (men). EARLY LAMBS AND CALVES Early lambs are commencing to make their appearance and are making good headway, despite the wintry conditions. The Ilopelands Dairy Company opened its doors on Monday morning to a good number of their suppliers. The many bobby calves being collected is evidence of the number of cows already
