Overtime Rates for Aircraft Workers
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Factories Act Modification Order No. 2 which is issued with the Gazette, modifies the provision of the Factories Act in respect of workers engaged on holidays and on Sundays in factories occupied for the purposes of any commercial aircraft service. Under the Modification Order these workers are to be paid overtime at the rate of time and a-half for work on those days.
