From Our Own Correspondent. Personal. Judge and Mrs Thomson, of Madras, who have been touring New Zealand, were recent visitors to Mrs H. Cornelius. Together with .Mrs r Walker, they left last week for Auckland, travelling via Nov Fly mouth. Mr and Mrs Thomson have thoroughly enjoyed their stay in New Zealand. They leave on Sunday on their return trip, visiting America en route. Mrs Jackman, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs A. Wylie. Mr W. F. Day, though still confined to bed as the result of a severe shaking received in a recent motor accident, is making good progress. Tennis. A Badger Cup match was played on the local courts between Alakomako and Balance on Saturday, the local team winning by 16 sets 13? games to S sets 127 games.
