TWO-TOOTH EWES SELL WELL The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on the weekly sale held on Tuesday when a fair yarding of sheep came forward and met with moderate competition. There was a good inquiry for 2th ewes. Small 2th ewes on account of Chas. Jennings, Makuri, realised 35s 2d. Lambs were hard to quit and were sold in buyers' favour. Distributing Co., Ltd., report on the Pahiatua weekly sale as follows:—Quite a fair yarding of sheep was offered to a moderate attendance of local buyers, prices generally showing a decline on previous sales, especially iu the older ewes. Few lambs were offered and prices were firm on late sales.
