Death Follows Injury
VICTIM CAB SMASH After lying in the Pahiatua Public Hospital since March 5 as the result of injuries received when a car driven by Leo Edward Serra crashed into and broke a telegraph pole at Hamua, Michael Ford, an elderly Masterton contractor, passed away at 5 a.m. yesterday. The deceased sustained a broken arm and was injured internally. Four other occupants of the car escaped with minor injuries.
