Farewell Bridge Party
MRS. G. WICKES HONOURED A farewell bridge party was given at Collinson and Cunninghame's tearooms yesterday to Mrs. Gordon Wickes, who is leaving Palmerston North to reside in Woodville. During the afternoon tea adjournment Mrs. Wickes was asked to accept of the assembled party a very handsome bedroom lamp. The guest of honour suitably expressed her thanks, and a pleasant afternoon concluded with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
