PARTIES POB MISS J. YATES The Buawhata School wuA crowded recently when local residents assembled in force to honour Miss Jessie Yates, whose marriage to Mr. W. Anderson, of Wellington, took place yesterday. On behalf of those present Mr. F. V. Bryant presented Miss Yates with a Westminster chiming clock and wished her all happiness in her married life. Messrs. Anderson and Y&tes responded. During tfc* evening an orchestral party from Pohangina rendered pleasig selections^ Miss Yates was also guest of honour at a kitchen afternoon held at the residence of Mrs. T. B. Milne, when ladies of the district bestowed upon her some very useful gift*
