PAR TO 5 PER CENT. LOWER United Press Association —By JSlectrle Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, in.35 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 21. At the wool sale 11,702 bales were offered and 10,088 sold; also 487 privately. The market to-day was irregular and, compared with the closing sales last week, was from par to 5 per cent, lower. Competition was fairly keen, excepting from the Japanese, whose activities were very restricted. Greasy Merino realised to 23d. The average price last week was £ 14 16s a bale and 12d a lb.
