No Alteration in Wool Offerings This Year

DOMINION COMMITTEE MEETS Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Wool Committee, which regulates the offerings at wooj sales, held a special meeting to-day to consider the advisability of effecting some curtilment in the allocations fixed for the remaining wool sales this season. The committee unanimously adopted the following resolutions:— That this committee does not consider it advisable to make any alteration in the allocations fixed for the remaining wool sales this season, mainly tor tho reason that the position is being uiet by the withdrawals which are being made by growers. That a joint meeting of representatives of producers, woolbrokers and vvoolbuyers be held to discuss the question of the greater spread of wool sales tor the 1938-39 series and any other vital question affecting the sale of wool, such meeting to be held at Christchurch on Wednesday, April 6, 1938.
