It ii expected that the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, will be sufficiently recovered from his illness to resume his official duties on. Mr. A. W. Hawley, New Zealand representative of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Limited, London, who was in Auckland for the visit of Viscount Nuffield, has returned to Wellington.

A Press Association telegram from Dunedin states that Dean G. C. Cruickshank has accepted an invitation to give the main address at the Anzac Day service at Sydney, which will be attended by the contingent of returned men from New Zealand.

Mr. R. G. Milligan, New Zealand director of the Martha Goldmining Company, is leaving next week on a short visit to London. During his absence Mr. J. H. G. Banks, battery superintendent at Waikino, will act as attorney.

Mr. Angus S. Mitchell, of Melbourne, a director of Rotary International, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa after a visit to Chicago. He will be the official representative of Rotary International at the Rotary conference which opens at Christchurch on February 22.
