MINA SEIFERT CUP CHALLENGE WITHHELD , On Monday a team of 12 players from Feilding challenged Manawatu for the Mina Seifert Cup, the match being played at Hokowhitu, resulting in Manawatu retaining the cup by six games to four, two being halved. Following w.ere the results, Feilding players being mentioned first:—

Mrs. Short halved with Miss Garner; Miss W. Robson lost to Miss R. Rutledge; Mrs. Geisen lost to Mrs. T. Buxton; Mrs. Smith beat Mrs. Hill; Miss Maclvor lost to Mrs. Colquhoun; Mrs, Borrie beat Mrs. Bennett; Mrs. Mulvaney halved with Miss Thomson; Miss E. Robson lost to Mrs. L. J. Oliver; Miss Sargisson lost to Miss L Rutledge; Miss H. Cornfoot beat Mrs. August; Mrs. Gover lost to Mrs. R. H. Manning; Mrs. Donaldson beat Mrs. Armitage.
