Novelties Found in London
London is always full of novelties. Stockings are now being made inside out. For years flappers have been turning them thus, regardless of seams and finishing, to obtain a dull effect, but now they may buy them ready-turned, with the back seams on the former inside and without any annoying ends. Doggy handbags are familiar, but now the cat has made his appearance in black suede, with milky-white and black eyes and a suitably wrinkled face which occupies the whole of the front of the bag. Buddha, also in the form of a handbag, sits near, placidly awaiting a purchaser. He, too, is of draped black suede, with a jet head.
