Feilding Foresters’ Lodge
The Feilding Foresters’ Lodge weekly social gathering on Saturday evening drew an excellent attendance despite the ratlicr unfavourable weather conditions.
Cards wore provided for the nondancers. Those successful in the euchre wero Messrs Whale, Moana, Prendergast and Howell in the men’s section, while Mesdames Watson and Wilson were winners in the ladies’ section.
Supper was served by a ladies’ committee, after which tho danco programme was held. Mr. H. Batten was M.C., music being supplied by Feeney's orchestra.
Mr. H. Hoaking was the winner of a special novelty competition and in the Monte Carlo waltz Mr. B. King and partner wero successful.
