France’s Strength Solid Behind Britain
UNEQUIVOCAL DECLARATION.

PARIS, Dec. 4,
An unequivocal declaration that tlid entire military strength of Franco stands solidly behind Britain was made by the Foreign Minister, M. Delbos, in the Chamber of Deputies, which was crowded.
"I want to declare that all the forces of France, land, sea and air, would be spontaneously and immediately utilised in the defence of Britain against an unprovoked aggressor," he said. . "I will say the same regarding Belgium, although wo must not forget their rather different conception of a future Locarno.
“So far as a new Locarno is concerned, the British Foreign Minister, and myself, are only asking that Germany should come into this network of guarantees on an equal footing. “In the meantime the greatest token for our own security and for general security is the reality of efficacious Franco-British friendship."
