Prices, compared with tho dose of the last series, in the following order, superior, medium to good, inferior to medium Merinos, greasy, were 15 to 20; • 15 to 20; 10 to 15; scoured 10 to 15; 15 to 20; 15 to 20; crossbreds, greasy 20 to 25 to 30; 25 to 30; scoured, 20 to 25; 25 to 30; 25 to 30; slipes 25 to 30; 25 to 30 per

cent, all up. Closing values in the following order

Superior, medium to good, inferior to medium Merinos, greasy, were: Is lOid to 2s Old, Is 5Jd to Is lOd, Js to Js sd; scoured 2s 5d to 2s 9id, 2s Id to 2s 4MI, Is Old to 2s; crossbreds, greasy Js Old to Is B|d, Is 2|d to Is 44d, Is OJd to Js 2d; scoured Is JOd to 2s 4d, J.s Old to Is Sd, Is Id to Is Gd; slipes Is Gd to Is lOd, Is 4d to Is 7d, Js 3d to Is Gd. Total sold 88,000 bales, the Home trade taking 41,000 bales, the Continent 42,000 bales and America 5000 bales. Carried forward, 11,000 bales.
