Visual Education Methods,
Miss M. Vernon, of Honolulu, spent a few hours in Palmerston North with Mr and Mrs J. Murray at College House on Tuesday on her way to Auckland after a visit to the South. Miss Vernon, who is head of the visual education department of the University of Hawaii, met the Minister of Education, Hon. Peter Fraser, tho Director of Education, Mr N. T. Lambourne and other educationalists in Wellington to give them an insight into this development in educational methods, stressing the part that, is played with films and the practical use made of museums and art galleries etc. Miss "Vernon left some films with the Minister who was deeply interested in all she had to say. Miss Vernon returns to Honolulu next week.
