Farewell Function For Mrs F. Lang
Recently members of, the Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance met to farewell Mrs F. Lang, honorary secretary of the Division. There were present: Mr J. A. Nash (chairman), Mrs F. Coles (superintendent), Mesdames R. McCulloch, D. McPherson, H. Dudfield, A. Hackshaw, F. G. Altricht, C. F. Ladyman, A. M. Wilson, and Miss E. Hackshaw. Apologies for absence were received from Colonel J. H. Whyte and Mrs J. A. Nash. Mr Nash spoke of the good work Mrs Lang had always done for tho division, which would loso a valuable member, and he hoped Mr Lang would recover his health in the warmer climate of the north. Mrs Lang would always receive a welcome from tho division. Mrs Coles made a small presentation to Mrs Lang and wished Mr and Mrs v Lang tho best of luck in their new home.
A dainty afternoon tea was served by tho nursing division.
