MEETINGS RESUME k. The first meeting for 1936 of tho St. Pctor’s Girls’ Club was woll attended on Monday ovening last when it was docided to change the club night from Monday to Wednesday in ordor that tho basketball practice, which is held on Monday night, will not clash with the business of the club. After the usual hour of Bible reading with Rev. H. Wilson as leader, Miss E. Taylor informed the girls that tho committee had decided recently that the club would challenge the vestry to a debate at somofuturo debate; also to hold a novelty night on the first club night in May. When the business had been discussed, fancy-work for the stall in the bazaar was handed out to tho girls to be worked. Until supper time the members busied themselves with handwork and suggestions for the coming concort. After supper a competition was held, being won by Miss M. Taylor, and then the girls gathered around the piano to enjoy a short community sing. Thanks are due to Misses M. Adams and E. Taylor for acting as hostesses at a very enjoyable evening.
