From Our Own Correspondent. The Anglican Bible class held its picnic at the Horseshoe bend on Saturday. The weather was fine and everyone spent an enjoyable day. Visitors were present from Shannon. The Presbyterian Sunday school picnic was held last Saturday in Mr E. Wilton’s grounds and a happy time was spent by those who attended.

Ideal weather prevailed for the tennis match played between Tokomaru and Ihakara at Tokomaru. The local team proved to be the winners by 14 sets 123 games to 10 sets 110 games. Results were as follow:
