Pohangina Valley

From Our Own Correspondent. On Saturday afternoon a cricket team representing the staff of Alessrs Barraud and Abraham, visited Pohangina to play a friendly match against the local eleven. The game, which was of one innings, was played on the domain playing area, and was enjoyable and Interesting throughout. The visitors won the “ashes” by a margin of 3G runs. Afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the district to whom Air Donovan expressed .appreciation on behaif of tlio visiting team. Tho speaker also thanked tho members of Pohangina Cricket Club-for their hospitality. Air Spelman suitably. replied on behalf of the home team.
