Presentation to Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Jeffs, Feilding
Mr and Mrs C. S. Jeffs, who during their long residence in Feilding havo been general favourites, were, on the eve of leaving to live in Wanganui, given a jolly little farewell evening by friends in York street, among whom they so happily have lived.
These friends during the evening took the opportunity of presenting them with a silver sandwich dish and fork with every good wish for the future and in remembrance of the happy times spent together. Mr and Mrs Jeffs wero deeply touched by tuo presentation and tho former, in speaking for both, feelingly expressed appreciation of the gift and the very kindly remarks that had accompanied it.
