AVhiic Senor Azana and his colleagues are drawing up an amnesty formula, reports arc arriving from many parts of attacks on gaols, the wrecking of local headquarters of Rightists, and tho burning of churches. A procession of 20,000 persons at Corunna marched to tho gaol. The guards allowed a deputation to take 17 prisoners, who were carried shoulder high to the City Hall, where a demonstration dissolved peacefully. A crowd at Gijon freed the inmates of two prisons. Demonstrators at Alicante came into coiiision with the police, who fired, killing two and wounding two, after which martial law was re-imposed. Prisoners in a reformatory mutinied and set fire to the building, which troops had surrounded. Don Emiello Iglesias, former Ambassador to Brazil, was arrested on a charge of attempting to falsify election returns at Lalin. A crowd yelled “We want Iglesias’ head.’’ Extremists set fire to the offices of a Catholic newspaper, burueu a Catholic convent to the ground, and saefied the headquarters of the Popular Action Party. Demonstrators at Murcia wrecked the printing presses of the Catholic newspaper Truth, and set fire to the building. Triumphal March Through City Received Friday, 7.30 p.m. MADRID, Feb. 21. A mob, several hundreds strong, stormed Oviedo gaol early this morning and after sweeping the police aside, opened tho cells and reieasou every prisoner in custody, numbering nearly a thousand. The prisoners joined their rescuers in a triumphal march through the city.
