Lad’s Mishap

ACCIDENT IN MAIN STREET. Ralph Horn, a lad of 12 years, of Wellington, received a nasty spill from a bicycle in Main street yesterday morning aud was rendered unconscious. In company with several others he was riding through town toward the southern end and when endeavouring to negotiate the corner fronting Dr Watsou’s uow homo, the machine somersaulted and the lad was thrown heavily to the ground. Dr Watson, who was near at hand, attended the boy who on regaining consciousness was taken to the home of friends with whom he was staying. Late yesterday afternoon his condition, although improving, was causing some anxiety, the lad boing dazed and shaken up by the severe fait he had received.
