Excursion to Napier
SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, An excursion train tv ill leave Paliiatua at 3.22 a.m. aud Mangataiuoka at 3.29 a.m. for Napier, arriving there at 12.22 p.m. and will depart, on the homeward journey, at 5.110 p.m. The return fares have been fixed at Os second class and 8s first class.
Some people are already under the impression that in travelling to Napier in this train a special privilege exists enabling those so desiring to extend their ’st'a^ 1 ' overnight using the excursion ticket when returning without any additional charge obtaining. Enquiries made'yesterday, at the railway station, revealed that such is not the case. The
trip is an excursion in every sense of the word and intending passengers should avail themselves of the handbill provided by the authorities which circular sets out in full the schedule for the day aud gives particulars regarding stopping stations, etc.
