Returning to Wanganui from Palmerston North on Wednesday afternoon in a Western Federated Flying Club Moth aeroplane, Messrs M. King and F. C. Norton struck a rain and lightning storm. They were then over Marton and as the visibility was almost nil they headed straight for the coast, which they followed to the Wanganui airport. Tho two aviators flew to Palmerston North to see tho new Union Airways DHS6 machine, but a 3 the ’plane had not left Blenheim at five o’clock they returned to Wanganui without seeing it.
