LONDON, January 0. ‘‘We have greater reason to hope for success than ever before,” Mr Hugh Buttledge told the Telegraph in recounting the Everest preparations. The team consists of iirst rate men, ten of whom have previous Himalayan experience. One great objective will be to place the additional camp higher than the highest camp in 193 d, and a good deal nearer the summit, probably within 1200 feet. Even from the additional camp it will take the party about liftcen hours to reach the summit and return. The climbers will have half an hour at the top at the most. Mr. Kuttledge leaves for India on January 31 and the expedition starts from Kalimpong, Bengal, on March 20.
