WELLINGTON, Oct, .18, The second week’s results of tlic ' health stamp campaign in aid of child- ’ ren’s health camps throughcut, New ' Zealand show that the efforts are being ' well maintained, states the director--1 general of the Postal Department, Mr : G. McNamara, the total credit having • reached the sum of £2,193. Not only ! are the 2d “health” stamps and illustrated Sd envelopes meeting with a 1 good demand but there is also a generous public response in the way of donations, the fortnight's total being made up from three sources of income, namely, net receipts from stamps £1,319, envelopes £169 and donations £705. The sales of “health” stamps in the postal districts of the Dominion up till October 15 were as follows: Auckland 51,G14, Blenheim 4,581, Christchurch 23,537, Dunedin 21,428, Gisborne 7,461, Grcymouth 10,247, Hamilton. 12,507, Invercargill 7,200, Napier 31,260, Nelson 4,540, New Plymouth 2G,205, Oamaru 3,248, Palmerston North 29,704, Thames 10,443, Timaru 13,681, Wanganui 10,895, Wellington 44,085, Westport GG3, Total 31G,302.
