Notes of the Day
Tho 31st anniversary of the Feilding Baptist Church was commemorated yesterday with special addresses at both services. Bcv. H. W. Page took tho morning service and Rev. J. H. Allen tho evening.
At Friday’s meeting of the Feilding Band of Hopo Rev. W. H. Pago gave a temperance talk aud items were contributed by Keith Cocker, Dulcic Thomas, Buraia Thomas, Leister Harford.
Flower day, held by tho children of Manchester Street School on Friday last, realised a sum of £lO which will be devoted towards the purchase of a radio for the school.
