Tho Raumat Ping Pong Club ended its first season's play with a tournament and dance in the Kaumai hall on Friday evening There was a good attendance, including a number of players from neighbouring clubs, and an enjoyable evening was spent by all. Play was very animated and after keen competition tho winner proved to be Mr. A. Pederson, with Mr. D. Balmer in second place. Mr. H. Fitzherbert presented the trophies and thanked patrons for their attendance. After supper had been served, tho floor was cleared for dancing, music being supplied by Mr. JL. Filzherbcrt. Extra dances were contributed by Misses M. Hanlon and K. Harding and Mr. W. Anderson. Those competing in the tournament were Misses It. Harding, G. Boekett, V. Montgomery, M. Toule, M.
