Friends of Mrs S. Wilkinson, of Palmerston North, will bo pleased to learn that she is making good progress after undergoing an operation in a private hospital this week.

Rev. H. T. Peat and Mrs Peat, of Ilamilton, formerly of Palmerston North, when Mr Peat was superintendent minister of the Cuba Street Methodist Church, attended the funeral of tho late Mrs D. Collis.

At the luncheon of the Business Girls’ Club yesterday, Mrs M. 11. Oram (president), on behalf of members, presented Miss Iris Robinson, who is shortly to be married, with a crystal vase. She voiced the good wishes of members, and Miss Robinson suitably replied.

Mrs Bambery was ono of our young members, and had been connected with the church from infancy. Miss Paterson, at tho time of her death, was a member of the committee, always so sweet and doing her full share of the work. To ail of their friends our hearts go out in deep sympathy. ”
