Newly-weds Welcomed Home. The Ohakea hall was the scene of a ' pleasant function on Friday night when '* a large number of friends of Mr and Mrs -D. Capstick gathered to welcome them home from their honeymoon, which had been spent in the Hawke’s Bay and Wellington districts. The newly-wed couple were escorted into the hall to the music of the bagpipes played by Mr. Donnell, and received a great welcome. The evening was spent in cards and a programme ' of Scottish dances, the music being sup- ‘ plied by Messrs Donnell, McKinnon and " McMillan. Mrs. H. Redpath, Mrs. Branch '* and Miss Gracie supplied extras. A "*■ Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss P. Bailey and Mr. G. Wiggins. Those winning most games at cards were Mrs. B. Frecklington and Sir. D.
