Miss Peggy Lowes, who was the guest of Mrs 0. 11. Druco (Kumrcroa) for the Plummer —Cowpcr wedding, has returned to Masterton.
Miss Jean Stevenson, National Secretary of the Now Zealand Y.W.C.A. who has been visiting Palmerston North, returned to Wellington on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs, D. Crawford, of Walton, who have been visiting Mrs. Crawford’s parents, Mr. and Mrs.- A. Montgomorie at Awahuri, are liioloring back home to-morrow.
The engagement is announced in an exchange of Lorna Joyce, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Walther, Woodville, to Frederick Vincent, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll, Palmerston North.
Mrs Neil Campbell, of “Awanui,” Hastings, who is the originator and president of tho Woodford House Old Girls’ Association, is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs E. L. Levin, “Westeila.” Feilding, for the Woodford House ball at Palmerston North to-night. Mr Neil Campbell and his sister, Miss Mary Campbell, aro also guests at ‘ ‘Westeila’ ’ for the occasion.
