From Our Own Correspondent. The ladies’ tennis handicap has progressed as far as the semi-final, leaving Misses E .and I. Anderson and E. Woods in the competition. A ‘ ‘ working ..bee” ( has effected great improvements and put in good work at the new tennis courts during last week. There is still plenty of work to be done and members should lend what help they can, in order to complete the work in hand while the weather is suitable. The thanks of the Tennis Club arc due to Mrs Anderson and family for providing refreshments. Arrangements are well in hand for the forthcoming tennis dance and presentation of trophies, when it is expected that outside clubs .will be well represented.
