To Berlin This Week
SIR JOHN SIMON’S VISIT TO AIEET CHANCELLOR

It lias now been arranged in consultation with the German Government that the Foreign Secretary, Sir John Simon, will travel to Berlin by air on March 7., Friday and Saturday will bo reserved for conversations with the German Chancellor and other members of the German Government. Sir John Simon will return to London on March 10. It lias not yet been decided whether Sir John Simon will bo accompanied on his Berlin visit by Mr. Anthony Eden. It is understood that the question of subsequent visit by the British Minister to Moscow, and, possibly, Warsaw and Prague, is still under consideration.
Great Banquet in Honour
BERLIN,, Alarch 2,
The city is preparing to show Sir John Simon Nazi hospitality second to none. He will bo given a suite in the Reich President’s palace in the Wilholmstrasse and the banquet at which he will be entertained will bo the biggest social event since Herr Hitler’s Presidency.
