Traffic Roads to Wellington
IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Improvements to traffic roads between Wellington , and Palmerston North were urged by representatives of the Automobile Association (Wellington) in conferenco this afternoon witii the Main Highways Board, which had arranged also to receive deputations from several local bodies. A spirit of goodwill and co-operation marked the 1 meeting and both parlies appeared to be delighted with the fact that, in respect or most of the improvements suggested, the board’s policy and even its programme of work had anticipated the association’s proposals.
