MEAT .FOR BRITAIN. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the month of October were as follows:—Australia: Mutton carcases, 54,325; lamb carcases, 421,760; beef (frozen) quarters, 43,685. South America: Mutton carcases, 4473; lamb carcases, 405,192; beef (frozen) quarters, 2774; (chilled) quarters, 448,373. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows: —Mutton carcases, 90,154; lamb carcases, 92,256; beef (frozen) quarters, 43,720.
