EX-VICTORIAN SETTLERS’ PARADE

Fifteen ex-Victorian settlers paraded all day long around Australia House, carrying banners urging a boycott of Australian goods as a return for Victoria’s treatment of British settlers. The paraders, who were orderly, handed passers-by pamphlets attacking the Victorian, Federal, and Imperial Governments. Australia House official's ignored the campaign and refused to comment.
