No steps are likely to bo taken towards a reconstruction of the Commonwealth Ministry until the Prime Minister has completed a fortnight’s holiday at his home, Dovonport (Tasmania). Tho new Cabinet will be announced after that and Parliament will probably re-assemble on October 23, the day after the arrival of the Duke of Gloucester in H.M.A.S. Canberra.

There is a good deal of speculation, as to whether Mr. Lyons will seek Country Party co-operation in the formation of his Ministry. It is stated that pressure is being brought to bear on him not to close the door entirely against that party. Lang Labour Party SYDNEY, Sept. 20. The Labour Daily on behalf of the Australian Labour Party (State of New South Wales) vigorously denies the statement published in the Sydney Morning Herald that the Lang Labour Party is seeking to obtain control over the Federal 'Labour movement.
