Alleged Assault With Razor
YOUNG MAN ACQUITTED IN SUPREME COURT Per Press Association. WESTPORT, Last Night. The Supreme Court was occupied today in the hearing of a charge against Leslie Bernard Pitcher, aged. 23, of assaulting \\ illiam Shorrock wits intent to do grievous bodily harm. The case was a sequel to an episode on February 2S, when accused slashed Shorrock with a razor. The defence claimed that a gang of youths victimised Pitcher, who retaliated. After a retirement of 3J- hours the jury returned with a verdict of not guilty.
