Catholic Cathedral And Convent Destroyed
DISASTROUS FIRE IN QUEBEC,

At Valley Field (Quebec), the Catholic Cathedral, valued at 600,000 dollars, and the Convent of the Sisters of Jesus and Mary, valued at 1,000,000 dollars, were destroyed by fire early on Friday. Five hundred pupils and nuns were rushed to safety, and there were no deaths, *' ‘"s.
