Arrangements for Next Cricket Tour Finalised
AUSTRALIAN TEAM TO SAIL ON MARCH 26

The Australian Cricket Board of Control decided that the Australian eleven should sail for England by the Orford, leaving Fremantle on March and arriving on April 26. The team will return by the Orontes, leaving London on September 29. The team will asesmblc at Melbourne prior to its departure and play two matches in Tasmania, one in Perth and one in Ceylon or at Aldershot against the Army team. The manager will receive an allowance of £650, the treasurer £6OO, and the players each £6OO, in instalments payable in the currency of the country in which the payments are made. Tho M.C.C. proposes that the Test matches should begin at 11.30 a.m. on the first day and 11 a.m. on tho following days, and cease at 6.30 p.m. daily. The Australian Board, however, desires tho Tests to begin at 11.30 a.m. daily, and has cabled accordingly. The board agrees that tho Tests should be limited to four days, but, if the destination of the Ashes is involved, the fifth should bo played to a finish.
The board decided to support the inclusion of a special rule covering qualification for Test matches and making provision for players of Indian nationality.

There will also be a match at Forres, Scotland, at a date to be arranged. Controversy Apparently Ended URGENTLY DESIRED BY PUBLIC Received Friday, 9 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 22.
The News-Chronicle deducts from the cricket itinerary drawn up by the Australian Board of Control that the battle between tho two cricket authorities has now ended. The paper adds that this was so urgently desired by the public that they will not worry overmuch about terms.
Body-line Attitude Endorsed By Associations
MANAGER AND TREASURER APPOINTED.

The Board of Control appointed Mr Bushby, the Tasmanian representative on the Board of Control, manager of the next Australian team, and Mr W. Bull, of Sydney, treasurer. No statement was issued in regard to the body-line controversy, but it is understood the board is pleased at the way the English county teams are supporting the Australian attitude .
The board also received endorsement of its attitude and an assurance that body-line bowling will be banned by cricket associations during Sheffield Shield contests in Australia.
