Tiakitahuna
From Our Own Correspondent. Neighbouring institutes were well represented. at a meeting held on Tuesday afternoon to consider the question of forming a group. Mrs. Davies presided. Bowls of spring flowers were arranged on the tables and added brightness to the hall. Miss Grant Palmerston North), vice-president of the Federation, was in attendance and explained the advantages which institutes received by the formation of a group, and on the motion of Mrs. D. Rowland it was resolved that a group be formed consisting of the following institutes:—Longburn, Kairanga, Aokautere. Tiritea and Tiakitahuna, with Longburn as its centre. Mrs. Davies was elected group convenor and Mrs. Lemberg group president. It was agreed to hold the first group meeting at Longburn on November 8. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Miss Grant. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames D. Buchanan, C. Crouchcr, M. Amadio and Miss Jeffrey.
